1-What is the Merchant Insurance Protection (MIP)?
This insurance covers supplies, delivery, replacement of equipment, technical assistance on site and by phone (without limit, without cost and without deductible). It is only available for merchants who have an account with us for a minimum of 90 days.
2-What is the difference between the Full Service Plan & the Merchant Insurance Protection (MIP)?
The Full Service Plan provides you the customer with the equipment and the majority of the fixed costs in service concept that appear in the Statement of USA Int’l Data.
The Merchant Insurance Protection (MIP) covers:
A- Equipment: All technical parts that include: breakage, installation at your business, technical support, and equipment upgrades.
B- Supplies, paper, ink or equipment parts, covers, cables, power supplies; etc.
C- Personalized Delivery to your place of business, which includes emergencies, Saturday/Sunday & after 6:00pm (for less than the $25 cost of a regular delivery)
3- Do I have a Contract?
NO! This is month to month.
4- Can I enroll or op-out at any time?
Yes! But the benefits will begin after 90 days.
5- Do I have a limit with the services I solicit?
No, this service is Unlimited, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
6- Am I required to pay any deductibles for any of the services provided with this Insurance?
No, there are no deductibles of any kind.
7- May I keep this Insurance if I change Processors?
NO, this is an exclusive service provided only to USA International Data’s merchants.
8- What is the difference between this insurance and the one provided by (FDGL)?
The Insurance provided by (FDGL) does not replace equipment in case you have any type of emergency, (the client must go and obtain another equipment).
9- Am I obligated to accept this Insurance?
NO, however in case you need technical assistance, supplies, and delivery (of any type) you will be subject to the regular prices.
10- Are there other companies that provide this type of Insurance?
No, unfortunately the industry trend is to NOT insure the customer, but the contrary. At the time a customer has a need/emergency, they are charged high prices to cover such emergencies, (the national average is 2 emergencies a year).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
